This Refund Policy applies to professional services provided by CoreShield Technologies. Specific refund terms for a given engagement are detailed in the executed Statement of Work (SOW). In the event of a conflict, the SOW controls.
1. Service Refund Eligibility
Because our work is delivered as bespoke professional services performed by senior engineers, designers, and marketers, fees for work already completed and accepted are non-refundable. Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment or billing error attributable to CoreShield.
- Cancellation of a project before any work has commenced, in which case any prepaid amount minus reasonable mobilization costs will be refunded.
- Failure to deliver agreed deliverables that have not been cured within the cure period defined in the SOW.
2. Project Cancellation
Either party may cancel an engagement in accordance with the termination terms of the applicable SOW. Upon cancellation:
- Fees for work completed up to the date of termination are payable in full.
- Any prepaid amounts attributable to work not yet performed will be refunded.
- All deliverables completed and paid for transfer to the client per the IP terms.
3. Non-Refundable Services
- Discovery, strategy, audit, and consulting work that has been delivered and accepted.
- Third-party costs paid on the client's behalf (e.g., licenses, ad spend, hosting).
- Retainer fees for the current billing cycle once that cycle has commenced.
4. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to sales@getcoreshield.com within thirty (30) days of the relevant invoice and must include the engagement reference and a description of the basis for the request.
5. Dispute Process
If you disagree with a charge or our response to a refund request, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution and governing law provisions of our Terms & Conditions.
